There are a number of ways to deal with high-moisture grain - the key is to act quickly and effectively... Cooling before batching: Batch drying (shown ) is one method of dealing with high-moisture grain and aeration cooling in storage can be used to hold grain safely before it can be put through the dryer... Higher airflow rates allow more heat to be added as it will push each drying front through the storage quick enough to avoid over heating the grain close to the aeration ducting...
