An understanding of farming systems issues by industry participants is essential for the accelerated adoption of new ideas and technology, and improving the economic and environmental performance of the grain industry... Of the industry based students: 51 have completed all four grains units (with 20 of these continuing to study for a Master of Agriculture), 26 are continuing towards the completion of the course, 25 have undertaken one or more units as part of other degrees, and 26 withdrew from the course after completing one or more units due to employment or personal reasons...
