Parents weighed all the food their children ate over three days, and researchers calculated whether children were receiving adequate amounts of key nutrients and fibre as part of the study... While the study indicated that most of the children were receiving the recommended amounts of iron, zinc, calcium and vitamin C, only 18 per cent were getting enough fibre...
