The project will increase water use efficiency ($/mm rainfall) by 5.0% across participating mixed farms, leading to an increase in regional profitability of $12.0 million ($25,300 per participating farmer)... Sustainability of mixed farming businesses will be improved through reductions in runoff and deep drainage (up to 13%) and increases in soil carbon (up to 7%)...
