Junee grains forum to prepare growers for season 2011 Opportunities and challenges facing south-west New South Wales grain growers as they prepare to embark on the 2011 cropping season will be addressed at an important forum in Junee on March 16... Among the speakers will be three representatives from the CSIRO in Canberra: Tony Swan will speak about the use of cover cropping in establishing perennial pastures; John Kirkegaard will give insights into the highlights and relevance of farming systems around the globe; and James Hunt will discuss the impact of livestock on crop yields in conservation farming systems...
