Each year, throughout the life of the project, a coordinated set of International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) spring bread wheat germplasm has been introduced, quarantined, increased and distributed to nominated programs in Australia... Additional benefits include: 1) importation of a targeted set of lines, selected from across all CIMMYT International Nurseries (IN); 2) arranging selection of entry sets from the candidates for the IN, thereby reducing delivery time by one year; 3) providing CIMMYT breeders' data for all lines imported under this project; and 4) on-line access to project data and CIMMYT pedigrees...
