While most of WA has seen increases of mean temperatures in the past 50 years, trends in mean spring temperatures varied by location... Sites with smaller trends in mean spring minimum temperatures had an increase in low temperature extremes (ie 'frost risk')... A small number of locations have experienced a slight increase in the length of the 'frost season', with the decade of the 2000s showing later dates of the last low temperature event...
