New minimum upwind buffer zone regulations are being implemented for ground-based and aerial spray applications to protect public and sensitive areas... The regulations - implemented by the APVMA for 2-4,D and phenoxy herbicides on 1 March - will be followed by further restrictions for several thousand other pesticides...
