Over the last few years feathertop Rhodes grass (FTR) has gone from being a common weed on roadsides but only a minor weed in cropping lands, to a serious problem weed in some paddocks as far south as Moree... Although ascochyta blight has been present in Central Queensland for the past six years, Mr Cumming said the incidence and severity had remained low due to dry winters and the concerted management efforts by growers and advisors...
