Ms Hill says the Great Southern"s highrainfall cropping zone, which has an average annual rainfall of 450 to 750 millimetres and longer growing seasons, creates the potential for typical yields to be as high as eight tonnes a hectare for cereals and three to four tonnes a hectare for canola - about double the current averages...
