Argentina's producers have cast fears that corn production will not exceed 20mmt - this fear has fuelled market speculation, and unconfirmed rumours, that Argentina will place a ban on corn exports this year this has been refuted by the Ministry... Wheat and corn are expected to remain the two grains most demanded, ahead of barley and soybeans, which in part is also reflective of a change in the composition of global dietary preferences towards grains that are complimentary to livestock produce...
