Rhizoctonia has been a constant threat to grain production in South Australia over the past decade, and emerged as a significant root disease in many South Australian crops in 2009, with barley being particularly affected... It is estimated that some crops have had their yield potential reduced by in excess of 50% as a result of this rhizoctonia infection...
