Wheat quality classification boundaries have changed resulting in changed classifications for some varieties... Plant early in areas of low frost risk, such as higher slopes, and reduce the risk of frost damage by planting more than one variety and by varying planting times... Capped domestic market volumes exist and growers are urged to seek pre-plant contracts...

At Agrimaster, we use a set of powerful business tools to breakthrough barriers so you can see where you are 'now', 'where' you want to go and 'how' you are going to get there... Before we judge the proposal, I will provide some context... If family businesses make the majority of their decisions considering the impacts on family only, the business is often left bearing the negative consequences of these decisions...

Weed seeds will most likely absorb herbicide if the herbicide is at or below the seed in the soil profile... Triallate needs to be situated at or above the weed seed to be effective... It is c4 u recommended that a preliminary compatibility test (jar d3 e 0 Tordon* ^^ R test) be carried out prior to the use of any tank mix t 20 with AXIAL n Velocity* e1 Please refer to the label of the product being tank c 0 r e mixed for rates and constraints P 0 GS39 GS47 - 49 GS61 - 65 Product labels and usage directions should be followed for the application of any product referred to in this Avena Gro...

The twenty drivers of the future of the industry that were identi ed by the participants at the workshop are listed below (in no particular order)... Overall, farming is subject to and more responsive to political in uence which is disconnected or has no association with the industry... The participants who developed the scenario for this quadrant were faced with conceiving what the industry would be like where there is little willingness to change, global and domestic political in uence did not suit the industry and infrastructure is neither developed nor maintained, and the economics of ...

In summary, 20 trials have now recently been undertaken across a number of seasons and locations in NSW. None of them have demonstrated S responses in yield or oil %. This does not exclude deficiency and yield penalties from occurring but does highlight that the frequency and the likelihood is not high... Delaying any action that has the potential to cease grain fill will see more seeds achieve their maximum size and improve yield... In summary there was no 'concerning' level of seed loss observed at any trial or timing, correlating well with the yield data...

H. marinum is widely referred to as sea barley grass around the world, and H. hystrixis known as Mediterranean barley grass... Conditions that favour germination and establishment The seed of common sowthistle can germinate at temperatures in the range 5 C to 35 C. Germination is ultimately determined by moisture availability, as a moist environment is preferred... There is a high proportion of seedling emergence from shallow seed sources, whereas more deeply buried seeds remain dormant and long-lived with a half life estimated at 10 years...

Influence of fungicide rate (mean of fungicide products - four site mean) Stem rust control assessed over the four trial sites revealed that using high rates was essential for the control of the disease, even if the fungicide had been applied prophylactically (before infection was visible in the crop)... Influence of cultivar resistance and fungicide application (Prosaro ) on yield and stem rust severity measured on the flag sheath 18 days after fungicide application at early dough (GS82) and assessed at mid dough - physiological maturity (GS85-90) - Bairnsdale, Gippsland, Victoria, 2010.....

Overall, soil CEC and SOC content was greatest in the 0.2 and 0.2-2 m fraction, indicating that size, and probably type, of SOM influenced CEC... Kaiser et al. (2003) found that soils with a high content of black carbon showed increased sorption ability compared with plant- and microbial-derived SOM... Addition of organic amendments can increase P availability to plants by decreasing the P adsorption capacity of soils...

Soil organic matter contributes to a range of biological, chemical and physical properties of soil and is essential for soil health... Soils rarely reach their theoretical potential for organic matter storage (see Figure 1.7)... In soils with low clay content the amount of humus and resistant soil organic matter is increasingly important to nutrient exchange because its large surface area gathers (adsorbs) cations from the soil solution, holding nutrients that would otherwise leach...
