The percentage of farm income derived from winter cereals has decreased in central Queensland and parts of Western Australia, a GRDC-commissioned survey has found... While there has been a slight fall in the percentage of farm income coming from winter cereals in central Queensland and parts of WA, the national position remains largely unchanged at 66 to 67 per cent... Overall, winter pulses and oilseeds remain a minor contributor to farm income, each representing less than three per cent of income nationally, although oilseeds are more popular in southern regions...
