A new focus for grains research across New South Wales (NSW) is set to provide growers with even better, more local results - fitting nicely with the Grains Research and Development Corporation's (GRDC) delivery on local industry issues... "While recent research at Tamworth has been important and it's pleasing to see more capacity there, the industry identified several years ago that there was a need to further decentralise RD&E capacity and these new positions in Narrabri and Trangie will help deliver key research findings to a wider area across the northern region... "The expanded network will allow the GRDC to invest in new initiatives focusing on agronomy, soils, weeds and nutrition to continue to drive improvements in productivity and profitability for NSW grain growers," Mr Clark said...
